ORDINANCE WAIVING SECTION 22- 1(a)(9) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SIGNS FOR THE "DIABETES WALK FOR LIFE"
EVENT IN LUCY PARK MAY 31, 1997.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls Public Health Diabetes Community Awareness
Program has requested permission to post their banner during their event May 31,
1997 in Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, the Program believes this necessary to make their event more
successful.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 22- 1(a)(9) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived to permit signs
during an event by the Wichita Falls Public Health Diabetes Community Awareness
Program in Lucy Park May 31, 1997.
