ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF A
FRANCHISE TO OPERATE SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLES
FROM ALFRED S. TUCKER TO JAMES L. FIELDS (DBA
SPECIAL DISABLED TRANSPORT)
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from Alfred S. Tucker, owner of Special
Disabled Transport and Courier Service to transfer the franchise to operate five special service
vehicles to James L. Fields (dba Special Disabled Transport), and
WHEREAS, the City Code of Ordinances allows for such a transfer after application to the
City and approval of the City Council, and
WHEREAS, a public meeting was conducted to consider this request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The franchise of Alfred S. Tucker, which consists of 5 authorized special service vehicles, is
hereby transferred to James L. Fields, dba Special Disabled Transport. The term of said franchise
shall end on February 5, 2001.
