AN ORDINANCE WAIVING SEC. 22- 1(A)(9) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SIGNS IN HAMILTON PARK DURING AN
EVENT BY KLUR BROADCASTING CO. DECEMBER 20, 21, AND 22,
1997.
WHEREAS, KLUR Broadcasting Co. has requested permission to post signs in
Hamilton Park during their proposed event December 20, 21, and 22, 1997; and,
WHEREAS, the event will be open to the public and providing a wagon hayride,
songs, and refreshments; and,
WHEREAS, circumstances in this request are exceptional.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Sec. 22- 1(a)(9) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived during an event in
Hamilton Park by KLUR Broadcasting Co. December 20, 21, and 22, 1997.
