ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TRANSFER
AVAILABLE FUNDS IN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS ACROSS
DEPARTMENTS FOR THE FINANCIAL CLOSING PROCESS OF
FISCAL YEAR 1996 -97
WHEREAS, the City is currently in the process of closing its financial records for
the 1996 -97 fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, as part of that process it is necessary to make budget adjustments
to ensure that all departments and funds end the year with sufficient appropriations at
the class total accounting level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to make budget transfers from currently
available appropriations across departments to ensure that all departments and funds
end the 1996 -97 fiscal year with sufficient appropriations at the class total account
level.
