AN ORDINANCE WAIVING SEC. 22- 1(A)(9) OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT SIGNS IN HAMILTON PARK DURING AN
EVENT BY UNITED REGIONAL HEALTH CARE SYSTEM APRIL 4,
1998.
WHEREAS, United Regional Health Care System has requested permission to
post signs in Hamilton Park during an event April 4, 1998 for the purpose of raising
funds for their organization; and,
WHEREAS, the event has taken place several times in Hamilton Park with no
problems reported; and,
WHEREAS, the circumstances in this request are exceptional.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Sec. 22- 1(a)(9) of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived to permit signs in
Hamilton Park during an event by United Regional Health System April 4, 1998.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 2nd day of December, 1997.
