AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE $2 PER PLAYER FEE AT HAMILTON
AND WEEKS TENNIS CENTERS FOR A TOURNAMENT SPONSORED
BY MIDWESTERN STATE UNIVERSITY SEPTEMBER 24,-26,1998.
WHEREAS, the proposed tournament sponsored by Midwestern State University
will bring in players from the surrounding region; and,
WHEREAS, this is the first tournament of this nature sponsored by MSU; and,
WHEREAS, this waiver is considered a one time action by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Tennis Policies are hereby waived to permit the non - payment of the $2 per
person fee for a tournament sponsored by Midwestern State University at Hamilton and
Weeks Tennis Centers September 24 -26, 1998.
