ORDINANCE NO. 14-9S
A ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROPRIATING $24,070 IN FUNDING RECEIVED
FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR THE
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval of funding from the
Texas Department of Public Safety for an Emergency Management Assistance
program; and,
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used for reimbursement of eligible
expenditures made during the period October 1, 1997, through September 30, 1998.
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 1997 -1998 annual budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in Budget Unit 264 -3230, $24,070 in
funding received from the Texas Department of Public Safety for the Emergency
Management Assistance Program.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
