ORDINANCE NO. -41A - ` 6
ORDINANCE MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN THE SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT REVENUE FROM THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval for additional grant
funds from the Texas Department of Health; and
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District and the Texas
Department of Health desire to enter into a contract for certain public health services;
and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 1997 -98 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $132,547 for the Ryan
White /Care Consortia Grant, and the City Manager is authorized to enter into contract
with the Texas Department of Health for the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health
District.
