ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REZONING ACREAGE OUT OF BLOCK 5, KEMP
SUBDIVISION, ABSTRACT 193; ACREAGE OUT OF BLOCK 1, KEMP
SUBDIVISION ABSTRACT 193; WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY,
TEXAS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH
THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
�4 REQUIRED BY LAW
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended rezoning
acreage out of Blocks 1 & 5, Kemp Subdivision, Abstract 193, Wichita Falls, Wichita
County, Texas, from Single Family -1 to Residential Mixed Use Zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the proposed rezoning of the area
hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. 5.28 acres out of Block 5, Kemp Subdivision, Abstract 193, also
known as 5615 Kovarik Road; 2.75 acres out of Block 5, Kemp Subdivision, Abstract
193, also known as 5613 Kovarik Road; and 12.87 acres out of Block 1, Kemp
Subdivision, Abstract 193, also known as 5512 Kovarik Road, Wichita Falls, Wichita
County, Texas, shown on the attached map and incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment A, is hereby rezoned from Single Family -1 to Residential Mixed Use.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 7th day of July, 1998.
