Ord 070-98 9/1/1998i ORDINANCE NO. ORDINANCE REZONING 3004 SHERMAN ROAD FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO CONDITIONED GENERAL COMMERCIAL; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended rezoning 3004 Sherman Road, Lot 3, Block 3, J.W. Thomas Subdivision, from Single Family -2 to Conditioned General Commercial; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The property described as 3004 Sherman Road, Lot 3, Block 3, J.W. Thomas Subdivision, Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," be rezoned from Single Family -2 to Conditioned General Commercial zoning. The uses permitted in this district are incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "B." SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 1 st day of September, 1998.
