ORDINANCE REZONING A PORTION OF 2125, 2127, 2129 & 2131
AVENUE K, DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4 & THE EAST Y2 OF LOT 5,
BLOCK B, KEMP, KELL AND JOLINE ADDITION, FROM LIMITED
COMMERCIAL TO CONDITIONED GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONING;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended rezoning a
portion of 2125, 2127, 2129 & 2131 Avenue K, from Limited Commercial to Conditioned
General Commercial zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The property described as the southern portion of 2125, 2127,
2129 & 2131 Avenue K, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 & the east Y2 of Lot 5, Block B, Kemp, Kell and
Joline Addition, Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached
map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," be rezoned from Limited
Commercial to Conditioned General Commercial zoning. The regulations for this
Conditioned General Commercial District are incorporated into this ordinance as
Attachment "B."
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
