AN ORDINANCE REZONING 2518 AND 2522 OLD IOWA PARK ROAD
FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO CONDITIONED GENERAL
COMMERCIAL, AND REZONING 1108 AND 1200 KENLEY LANE FROM
RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE TO CONDITIONED GENERAL
COMMERCIAL; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended rezoning 2518
and 2522 Old Iowa Park Rd. from Single Family -2 to Conditioned General Commercial,
and rezoning 1108 and 1200 Kenley Ln. from Residential Mixed Use to Conditioned
General Commercial; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The property described as 2518 and 2522 Old Iowa Park Road
and 1108 and 1200 Kenley Lane, also known as the west one -half of Block 23 & all of
Blocks 17, 24, 25 & 26 and Lot D, Block 27, Ed Woodall Subd. No. Two, Wichita Falls,
Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this
ordinance as Attachment "A ", be rezoned from Single Family -2 and Residential Mixed
Use to Conditioned General Commercial. The regulations for this Conditioned General
Commercial District are incorporated into this ordinance as Attachment "B ".
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
