ORDINANCE REZONING 2250 TURTLE CREEK ROAD, ALSO KNOWN
AS LOT 1, BLOCK 1, KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ADDITION, FROM
SINGLE FAMILY -1 TO RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE; DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission recommended 2250 Turtle
Creek Road, Wichita Falls, Texas, be rezoned from Single Family -1 To Residential
Mixed Use zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The property described as 2250 Turtle Creek Road, also known as
Knights of Columbus Addition, Lot 1, Block 1, Wichita Falls, Texas, and shown as the
shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," be
rezoned from Single Family -1 to Residential Mixed Use zoning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
