ORDINANCE REZONING 2125, 2127, 2129, 2131 & 2133 BROAD
STREET, ALSO DESCRIBED AS LOTS 16 -20, BLOCK 8, SIBLEY
TAYLOR ADDITION, FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended that 2125,
2127, 2129, 2131 & 2133 Broad Street, Wichita Falls, Texas, be rezoned from Single
Family -2 to General Commercial zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described is in accordance with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The property described as 2125, 2127, 2129, 2131 & 2133 Broad
Street, also known as Lots 16 through 20, Block 8, Sibley Taylor Addition, Wichita Falls,
Texas, and shown as the shaded area on the attached map, incorporated in this
ordinance as Attachment "A," be rezoned from Single Family -2 to General Commercial
zoning.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
