ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TRANSFER
AVAILABLE ACCOUNT BALANCES IN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS IN THE
GENERAL FUND ACROSS DEPARTMENTS AND APPROPRIATING
GOLF COURSE FUND EQUITY FOR THE FINANCIAL CLOSING
PROCESS OF THE 1997 -98 FISCAL YEAR; DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City is currently in the process of closing its financial records for
the 1997 -98 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, as part of that process, it is necessary to make budget adjustments
to ensure that all departments and funds end the year with sufficient appropriations at
the expenditure class total accounting level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to make the following
budget transfers from currently available appropriations across departments to ensure
that all departments and funds end the 1997 -98 fiscal year with sufficient appropriations
at the expenditure class total account level.

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated, $40,000 of Golf Course Fund Equity
to the Golf Course Enterprise Fund for the 1997 -98 fiscal year.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law
