Ord 037-99 5/4/1999ORDINANCE NO. 57 --60 ORDINANCE REZONING 4.0 ACRES OUT OF THE O.H.P. DAVIS SURVEY, ABSTRACT 65, BEING THE UNPLATTED PORTION OF TAMARRON SUBDIVISION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO LIMITED OFFICE ZONING AND AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended rezoning 4.0 acres out of the O.H.P. Davis Survey, Abstract 65, Wichita Falls, Texas, being the unplatted portion of Tamarron Subdivision, Wichita Falls, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission acknowledged that conditions in the proposed area have changed and recommended amending the Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan, to conform to this rezoning; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described will be in accordance with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: SECTION 1. The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas is hereby amended for the four acre tract shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Said property land use designation shall be changed from low density Residential to Light Commercial. SECTION 2. The property described as 4.0 acres out of the O.H.P. Davis Survey, Abstract 65, Wichita Falls, Texas and shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A," be rezoned from Single Family -2 to Limited Office. SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th day of May, 1999.
