AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $24,070 IN FUNDING RECEIVED
FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR THE
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval of funding from the
Texas Department of Public Safety for an Emergency Management Assistance
program; and
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used for reimbursement of eligible
expenditures; and
WHEREAS, approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the 1998 -1999 annual budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in Budget Unit 266 -3230, $24,070.00
in funding received from the Texas Department of Public Safety for the Emergency
Management Assistance Program.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
