ORDINANCE NO. 61-2013
Ordinance Accepting Grant Funds From The U.S. Department Of
Homeland Security 2013 Homeland Security Grant And Appropriating
Said Funds In The Special Revenue Fund Of The City In The Amount
Of $4,546
WHEREAS, the City has been notified that it has been awarded $4,546.00 from
the 2013 State Homeland Security Program; and
WHEREAS, the grant of $4,546.00 has been identified to support the City of
Wichita Falls Mobile Command unit in satellite service for phone and internet
emergency communications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City hereby accepts the 2013 State Homeland Security Program in the
amount of $4,546.00 and appropriates said amount in the Special Revenue Fund of the
City to account for these expenditures. The City Manager is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to accept said funds, including agreement(s) for said funds with
the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
