RESOLUTION NO. 110-2013
Resolution Awarding Bid For Portable Fence Panels To Metta
Technologies, Inc., In The Amount Of $89,980
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
purchase of portable fence panels, bids were received and publicly opened on
September 27, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the bid by Corner Post Services, LLC failed to meet minimum
material specifications and provided a warranty that was substantially less than offered
in the Metta Technologies, Inc. bid; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Metta Technologies, Inc. was the lowest
responsible bidder meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of portable fence panels is awarded to Metta
Technologies, Inc., in the amount of $89,980, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to purchase said product.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of October, 2013.
