ORDINANCE NO. 110 -C1l
ORDINANCE REZONING 0.34 ACRES OUT OF THE A. DUNLAVY
SURVEY A -60, FROM SINGLE FAMILY -2 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL
ZONING AND AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended rezoning 0.34
acres out of the A. Dunlavy Survey A -60, from Single Family -2 to General Commercial
zoning; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission acknowledged that conditions
in the proposed rezoning area have changed and recommended amending the Land
Use Plan, an element of the Comprehensive Plan, to conform to this rezoning; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, deems that the
proposed rezoning of the area hereafter described, and amending the Comprehensive
Plan to reflect this change, will be in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City of Wichita Falls Land Use Plan, an element of the
Comprehensive Plan for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is hereby amended for a tract
being 0.34 acres out the A. Dunlavy Survey A -60, Wichita Falls, Texas. Said property
is shown on the attached map, incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "A." Said
property land use designation shall be changed from Low Density Residential to
Commercial.
SECTION 2. The property described in Section 1, is hereby zoned General
Commercial.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
