ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DEVELOPMENT FEE ORDINANCE IN
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, AT CHAPTER 23, ARTICLE II, SECTION
23 -17, SUBSECTION (14), SUBSECTION (B), FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Inspection Division has studied existing construction permit fees;
and,
WHEREAS, such study has determined that certain methods of permit fee
calculations and charges are in need of updating.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Code of Ordinances, At Chapter 23, Article II, Section 23 -17,
Subsection (14), Subsection (b) is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(14) (b) A fee of $200.00 shall be charged for each contractor work permit,
which shall authorize and include 10 separate permits for work at
individual work sites or locations."
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
