ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A $205,000 GRANT FROM THE U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FOR THE WEED AND SEED PROGRAM;
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE
WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received a $205,000 grant from the U.S. Department of
Justice for a Weed and Seed program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue its participation in this program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The is hereby appropriated from the U.S. Department of Justice
$205,000 for the Weed and Seed program.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
