ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATION TO THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUND FOR ADDITIONAL GRANT REVENUE RECEIVED FROM THE
TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT ACCEPTING SAME; FINDING
AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has received approval for additional grant
funds from the Texas Department of Health; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 1999 -2000 Budget; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $71,000
for the Prevention, Counseling, and Partner Elicitation (PCPE) program.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract
accepting same.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
