ORDINANCE NO. 57-2013
Ordinance Rezoning Approximately 0.5 Acres Of Land At 1530, 1532,
1534 Kell Blvd. And 1707 Grace Street From Limited Commercial (LC)
To General Commercial (GC) And Amending The Land Use Plan To
Change The Area From Low Density Residential To Commercial
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its September 11, 2013 meeting, and voted unanimously to
recommend approval of this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning and Land use Plan amendments are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Lots 9, 10 & 11 (not including adjacent right-of-way), Block 5, Spivey Addition
(a.k.a. 1530, 1532, 1534 Kell Blvd. and 1707 Grace St.), as depicted on the attached
map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “A”, is hereby rezoned from Limited
Commercial (LC) to General Commercial (GC).
2. The area on the Land Use Map, as depicted on the attached map
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “B”, is hereby amended to change the
area from low density residential to commercial.
