Ordinance Appropriating $16,945 Of Grant Funds Received From The
Texas State Library And Archives Commission (Loan Star Libraries
Program) And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All
Documents Necessary To Accept Said Funds
WHEREAS, the Texas State Library and Archives Commission awarded the City
$16,945 pursuant to its Lone Star Libraries Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept these funds and appropriate them
to the Special Revenue Fund for the 2011 Summer Reading Program with events and
activities for all ages, to purchase five replacement displayers, and to replace finro
receipt printers, a barcode scanner, and associated inventory hardware and software.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Funds in the amount of $16,945 that have been awarded to the City from the
Texas State Library and Archives Commission for the Lone Star Libraries Program are
appropriated to the Special Revenue Fund, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute all documents necessary to accept said funds.
