Resolution Awarding The Bid For The City's Estimated Annual
Requirement Of Automotive Lubricating Oils And Grease To Western
Marketing, Inc., In The Amount Of $141,080.00
WHEREAS, the City advertised and requested bids for the purchase of the City's
annual requirement of automotive lubricating oils and grease; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on July 9, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Western Marketing, Inc. was the lowest
responsible bidder responding to the aforementioned request for bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for the purchase of lubricating oils and grease is awarded to Western
Marketing, Inc., in the amount of $141,080.00, and City staff are authorized to execute
all documents necessary to purchase said product(s), in accordance with the bid
specifications.
