Ordinance Rezoning Lot 8, Block 25, Sibley Taylor, And The Adjacent
Alley Right -Of -Way From Single Family -2 (SF -2) To General
Commercial (GC) And Amend The Land Use Plan To Change The
Area From Low Density Residential To Commercial
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its July 10, 2013 meeting, and voted unanimously to recommend
approval of this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined the
herein described Zoning and Land use Plan amendments are in the public interest; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Lot 8, Block 25, Sibley Taylor (a.k.a. 2215 Jasper St.), and the adjacent alley
right -of -way as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this ordinance as
Attachment "A" is hereby rezoned from Single Family -2 to General Commercial.
2. The Land Use Map as depicted on the attached map incorporated in this
ordinance as Attachment "B ", is hereby amended to change the area from low density
residential to commercial.
