Resolution Approving Amendment No. 1 To The Construction
Manager At Risk Services Contract With Trinity - Hughes /Sundt Joint
Venture For The Construction Of The Wichita Falls Regional Airport
Terminal Area Project (City Of Wichita Falls — SIPS Airport Terminal),
And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Documents
Necessary To Approve Trade Contractors And Subcontractors In
Accordance With Chapter 2267 Of The Texas Government Code
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City staff has validly used the
procedures described in Chapter 2267 of the Texas Government Code to obtain
construction manager at risk services for the construction of the Wichita Falls Regional
Airport Terminal Area Project and complied with other statutory provisions related
thereto;
WHEREAS, November 20, 2012, the City Council awarded a contract to Trinity -
Hughes /Sundt Joint Venture to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk for
construction of Phase II and Phase III of the Wichita Falls Terminal Area Project; and
WHEREAS, as part of that contract, Trinity- Hughes /Sundt Joint Venture
prepared and submitted a Guaranteed Maximum Price for site preparation, concrete,
structural steel, baggage handling systems, and passenger boarding bridges of
$7,773,260.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute Amendment No. 1, authorizing a
Guaranteed Maximum Price of $7,773,260 in the Construction Manager at Risk
Services Contract with Trinity- Hughes /Sundt Joint Venture for the construction of the
Wichita Falls Regional Airport Terminal Area Project (City of Wichita Fall - SPS Airport
Terminal), in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, and the City Manager is
further authorized to execute all documents necessary to complete the work including
all documents necessary to approve trade contractors and subcontractors for this
project, in accordance with Chapter 2267 of the Texas Government Code.
