Resolution Approving The Programs And Expenditures Of The
Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation Board Of Directors To
Include Funding To $250,000 For The Wayfinding Signage Project
And Up To $250,000 For The Castaway Cove Water Slide Project
WHEREAS, Texas Local Gov't. Code § 501.073(a) provides "The corporation's
authorizing unit will approve all programs and expenditures of a corporation and
annually review any financial statements of the corporation;" and,
WHEREAS, on or prior to this date, the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation
(4BSTC) approved the projects listed below as stated in its agenda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation's approval and funding of the
following programs and expenditures, as described above and in said corporation's
agenda, is approved:
• Wayfinding Signage Project, which will provide for fabrication, construction,
and installation of wayfinding signage throughout the City in an amount of up
to $250,000.
• Castaway Cove Water Park Capital Improvement Project, which will
provide for addition of a water slide attraction and improvements to the
Castaway Cove Water Park in an amount of up to $250,000.
2. The current fiscal year budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax Corporation is
amended in accordance with the aforementioned expenditures.
3. The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
effectuate the transfer and management of any funds described herein.
