Resolution Appointing Members To The Lake Wichita Study
Committee
WHEREAS, the City Council established the Lake Wichita Study Committee on
April 16, 2013, by supporting the appointment of an ad hoc committee to study and
make recommendation to the City Council for improvements to and management of
Lake Wichita;
WHEREAS, on May 7, 2013, the City Council established the composition and
objectives of the Committee; and
WHEREAS, solicitation for applications for citizen membership on the nine -
member Committee has been conducted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The following citizens are hereby appointed to the Lake Wichita Study Committee
for a term not to exceed 18 months:

• Chairman of the Park Board
• Member of the Park Board
Brian Hooker
Penny Miller
Stephen Garner
• Representative of Lakeside City Michael Chapman
• Citizen of the City of Wichita Falls Nancy Howell
• Citizen of the City of Wichita Falls Clayton Lane
• Citizen of the City of Wichita Falls Allen Pappas
• Citizen of the City of Wichita Falls Larry Scott
• Citizen of the City of Wichita Falls Andrew Wallander
