Resolution Confirming An Appointment To The Firefighters' And
Police Officers' Civil Service Commission
WHEREAS, the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission is
established by state law, specifically, SeCtIOCt 143.006 Of th2 TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT
CODE;
WHEREAS, it is a three-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Manager, with confirmation by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has appointed Carol DuBray to the Firefighters'
and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appointment of Carol DuBray to the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil
Service Commission is hereby confirmed.
