Ordinance Appropriating $217,757 To The Special Revenue Fund For
The Ryan White Early Intervention Grant And Authorizing The City
Manager To Execute All Documents Necessary To Accept Said Grant
from Tarrant County and the Texas Department of State Health
Services
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls- Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of Ryan White Part B grant revenue from Tarrant County,
Texas;
WHEREAS, the Health District and Tarrant County, Texas desire to enter into a
contract for HIV preventative services; and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2010 -2011 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The amount of $217,757 is hereby appropriated to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Ryan White Early Intervention Grant, and the City Manager is authorized to enter
into a contract and all other documents to accept said grant from Tarrant County and
the Texas Department of State Health Services for the Wichita Falls- Wichita County
Health District.
