Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award a bid and contract
for the Regional Airport Entry Vestibule Doors Project to M & F
Litteken Co., in the amount of $300,900.00
WHEREAS, one of the City of Wichita Falls' Strategic Goals is to Provide Quality
Infrastructure; and,
WHEREAS, the Regional Airport's original turnstile doors have been subject to
recurring malfunctions since 2017, and their replacement with double sliding doors is
necessary to ensure reliable operation and improved public access,
WHEREASthe City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2026 Regional
Airport Entry Vestibule Doors Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the award of the base bid is in the best interest of the
City of Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is M & F Litteken CO.,
who made a price bid with a total of $300,900.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The price bid for the 2026 Regional Airport Entry Vestibule Doors Project is
awarded to M & F Litteken Co. in an estimated total amount of $300,900.00, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with
said Contractor for the construction of the project.
