Res 083-2026 replacement of the existing HVAC water piping lines 08/18/2026 Resolution No. 83-2026
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign all documents
necessary for the replacement of the existing HVAC water piping lines
with new copper lines at the Health Department, 1700 Third St., Wichita
Falls, TX 76301, through the TIPS-USA Purchasing Cooperative from
Trinity Air Conditioning, Inc. in the amount of $233,650.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's competitive bidding
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Trinity Air Conditioning, Inc. is replacing all
of the existing HVAC piping lines with new copper lines through the TIPS-USA Purchasing
Cooperative, and it is in the best interest to purchase equipment and services in
accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to sign all documents, in a form approved by the
City Attorney, necessary for the replacement of the existing HVAC water piping lines with
new copper lines at the Health Department, 1700 Third St., Wichita Falls, TX 76301 ,
through the TIPS-USA Purchasing Cooperative from Trinity Air Conditioning, Inc. in the
amount of$233,650.00.
