Res 159-2025 Execute Contracts CCI and CIA 12162025 12/16/2025 RESOLUTION NO. 159-2025
Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute contracts with
Child Care, Inc. in the amount of $126,673 and Christmas in Action in
the amount of $150,000
WHEREAS, on August 5th, 2025, the City Council passed Resolution 82-
2025, which awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to
Child Care, Inc. and Christmas in Action; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into contracts with these
agencies to provide the terms and conditions for the use of these funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into contracts, in forms
approved by the City Attorney, with the following organizations in the amounts
specified below:

Child Care, Inc. $126,673
Christmas in Action $150,000
