Res 146-2025 purchase of two (2) transfer trucks 11/18/2025 RESOLUTION NO. 146-2025
Resolution authorizing the purchase of two (2) transfer trucks through
a Sourcewell contract from Holt Truck Centers of Texas, LLC in the
amount of$308,286.74
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's competitive bidding
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that International is offering an LT625 6x4
Chassis through Sourcewell from Holt Truck Centers of Texas LLC and it is in the best
interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase two
transfer trucks through Sourcewell from Holt Truck Centers of Texas, LLC in the amount
of $308,286.74.
