Resolution authorizing the purchase of two 2026 International HV607
Chassis with a 15sq ft Dump Bed, through the Sourcewell Purchasing
Cooperative, from Holt Truck Centers, LLC in the amount of
$278,397.46
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Holt Truck Centers, LLC is offering two
2026 International HV607 Chassis w/ 15sq ft Dump Bed, through the Sourcewell
Purchasing Cooperative, and it is in the City's best interest to purchase equipment in
accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Manager is authorized to execute all documents, as approved by the City
Attorney, necessary to purchase two 2026 International HV607 Chassis with a 15sq ft
Dump Bed, through the HGAC Purchasing Cooperative, from Holt Truck Centers, LLC in
the amount of $278,397.46.
