Resolution authorizing the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar 627 Wheel
Scraper through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing from Warren
Power & Machinery, Inc. in the amount of $1,380,700.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's competitive bidding
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Caterpillar is offering one (1) Excavator
through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing from Warren Power & Machinery, Inc.
and it is in the best interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative
Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase one (1)
Caterpillar 627 Wheel Loader through the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing in the
amount of$1 ,380,700.00.
