Resolution authorizing the purchase of two (2) curbside trash trucks
(Mack LR64 with Heil ASL bodies) through the Houston-Galveston
Area Council from Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. in the amount of
$837,834.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code §252.022 exempts items purchased
through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's competitive bidding
requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Mack is offering two (2) LR64 with Heil ASL
bodies through the Houston-Galveston Area Council from Bruckner's Truck Sales, Inc.
and it is in the best interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative
Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase two
curbside trash trucks from Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. through the Houston-Galveston
Area Council in the amount of$837,834.00.
