Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an interlocal
cooperation agreement with Wichita County for the collection of ad
valorem taxes
WHEREAS, Wichita County serves as the Tax Assessor Collector for the City of
Wichita Falls; and,
WHEREAS, the County has proposed a new interlocal agreement effective
October 1, 2025, which updates the rate for these services to $2.75 per parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to enter into an interlocal cooperation
agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, with Wichita County for
the collection of ad valorem taxes.
