Ord 33-2025 WIC Grant to Special Revenue Fund $37,700 06/17/2025 Ordinance No. 33-2025
Ordinance making an appropriation to the Special Revenue Fund for
the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Grant Program in the amount
of $37,700 received from the Texas Health and Human Services
Commission (HHSC), and authorizing the City Manager to execute
contract accepting same
WHEREAS, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission has identified
additional funding for our local WIC agency; and,
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 2024-2025 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
There is hereby appropriated in the Special Revenue Fund $37,700 for the
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program.
