Resolution authorizing the City Manager to award bid and contract for
the Hike & Bike Trail from Camp Fire Property to Lucy Park to JLT
Contracting LLC in the amount of $1,885,606.40
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the Hike & Bike
Trail from Camp Fire Property to Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is JLT Contracting, who
made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $1,885,606.40; and,
WHEREAS, TxDOT has reviewed, approved, and recommended award of the
project to JLT Contracting LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Hike & Bike Trail from Camp Fire to Lucy Park is awarded
to JLT Contracting LLC, in an estimated total amount of $1,885,606.40, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney, for
the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
