Planning and Zoning Commission Notice - 05/14/2025 NOTICE OF MEETING MEETING:Planning & Zoning Commission DATE: Wednesday, May 14, 2025 TIME: 2:00 p.m. LOCATION:Seminar Room, MPEC, 1000 5th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas AGENDA I. Call to Order II.Comments from the public to members of the Planning and Zoning Commission concerning items not on the Planning & Zoning Commission Agenda. People wishing to address the Commission should sign up prior to the meeting commencing. A five-minute time frame will be adhered to for those addressing their concerns. III.Adoption of Minutes –April 9, 2025 IV. Consent Agenda P 25-22 – Vieth Farms Subdivision, Lots 1-10, Block 1 & Lots 1-11, Block 2 – Final Plat P 25-23 –Plum Creek Commercial Addition, Lot 2, Block 1 – Final Plat V. Regular Agenda Case C 25 – 09 2300 Tinker Trail – Request to allow for a carport in the required front setback in the Single Family -2 (SF-2) zoning district. C 25-10 300 Lee Street –Request to allow for the reduction of 25’ to the side interior setback in the Light Industrial (LI) zoning district. R 25-03 2707 West Rathgeber Road – Annexation Zoning Recommendation Consideration to recommend a zoning designation of Single Family -2 (SF-2) and a Land Use Plan classification of Low Density Residential for a petitioned annexation at 2707 West Rathgeber Road (2.00 Acre Tract Out of a 5.00 Acre Tract in the Green Reynolds Survey, Abstract 251, Wichita County, Texas) R 25-04 5201, 5203, 5205, & 5207 Stone Lake Drive – Request to rezone 5201, 5203, 5205, & 5207 Stone Lake Drive (Stone Lake Estates, Lots 33-36, Block 1, Phase 9) from Single Family -2 (SF-2) to the General Commercial (GC) zoning district and amend the Land Use Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial to allow for the construction of an office building. VII.Other Business Workshop/discussion of zoning ordinances with regard to the following items: • Creation of a special overlay district for the Heart of the Falls Neighborhood Revitalization Area • An amendment to Section 6600 – Temporary Use Regulation to consider permitting dent repair uses in the General Commercial (GC), Light Industrial (LI), and Heavy Industrial (HI) zoning districts VIII.Adjourn Every item on this agenda shall be considered a public hearing and citizens may appear at the beginning of this meeting and request to speak on any item.
