Res 045-2025 Purchase of Two 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickups 04/15/2025 Resolution No. 45-2025
Resolution authorizing the purchase of two (2) 2024 GMC Sierra 1500
pickups through the TIPS Purchasing Cooperative from Chuck Nash
Chevrolet Buick Inc. in the amount of $100,365.50
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Chuck Nash Chevrolet Buick GMC is
offering (2) 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 pickups through the TIPS Purchasing Cooperative,
and it is in the City's best interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the
Cooperative Purchasing Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase two (2) 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickups through the BuyBoard Purchasing
Cooperative from Chuck Nash Chevrolet Buick Inc. in the amount of$100,365.50.
