Resolution appointing Jeffery Jenkins City Manager for the City of
Wichita Falls and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate a Professional
Services Agreement with the Appointee with a base salary of$278,000
WHEREAS, Section 57 of the City Charter authorizes the City Council to appoint
the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Jeffery Jenkins is hereby appointed as the City Manager for the City of Wichita
Falls effective on June 9, 2025, and will, on said date, replace the current Interim City
Manager.
The Mayor is authorized to negotiate and sign a Professional Services Agreement,
in a form approved by the City Attorney, with the appointee. The base salary shall be
$278,000.
