Ordinance Rezoning Approximately 19.04 Acres Of Land At 4300
Barnett Road From Single Family-2 (SF-2) To Limited Office (LO),
And Amending The Land Use Plan To Change The Area From High
Density Residential To Light Commercial
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its March 13, 2013, meeting, and voted unanimously to recommend
approval of this request; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and determined that the
herein described Zoning and Land Use Plan amendments are in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1 . Approximately 19.04 acres out of Blocks 18 & 19 Denton CSL, League 1 &
Abst. 193 (a.k.a. 4300 Barnett Road), as depicted on the attached map incorporated in
this ordinance as Attachment "A", is hereby rezoned from Single Family-2 to Limited
Office.
2. The area on the Land Use Plan Map as depicted on the attached map
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment "B", is hereby amended to change the
area from high density residential to light commercial.
