Ordinance ratifying the increase in property tax revenue as reflected
in the Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 and
ending September 30, 2025
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THAT:
1 . The City of Wichita Falls, FY 2025 Budget is hereby ratified to raise more total property
taxes than last year's budget by $3,386,401 , which is an increase of 6.95%, and of that
amount $568,845 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this
year.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day of September, 2024.
