annexation involving a parcel of city property known as 0.34 acres out
of the William Anglin Survey A-2 located at 3601 Armstrong Drive
WHEREAS, the City maintains property located at 3601 Armstrong Drive; and,
WHEREAS, City staff believes the annexation of the property into the city limits will
create an incentive for purchase when the property is ultimately disposed of and wishes
to begin the annexation application process; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such an application for
annexation is in the public interest and wishes to allow the City Manager to execute all
documents to begin the annexation process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1 . The City Council directs the City Manager to execute all documents to begin
the annexation process for 0.34 acres out of the William Anglin Survey A-2 located at
3601 Armstrong Drive.
