Res 091-2024 Pickup Purchases for Landfill and Water Purification Division 08/06/2024 Resolution No. 91-2024
Resolution authorizing the purchase of two 3/4-ton pickups for the
Landfill and Water Purification Divisions through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative from Caldwell Country Chevrolet II, LLC in the
amount of$100,150.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022 exempts
items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts from the State's
competitive bidding requirements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds Caldwell Country Chevrolet II LLC offering two
3/4-ton pickup trucks through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative, and it is in the best
interest to purchase equipment in accordance with the Cooperative Purchasing
Programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
purchase two 3/4-ton pickup trucks through the BuyBoard Purchasing Cooperative from
Caldwell Country Chevrolet II, LLC in the amount of $100,150.00.
