Res 061-2024 Sale of City-Owned 3601 Armstrong 06/04/2024 Resolution No. 61-2024
Resolution requesting permission to declare excess property and
advertise for sale the City-owned property located at 3601 Armstrong
Drive, more specifically described as a 0.344-acre tract of land out of
William Anglin Survey, A-2, Wichita County, Texas; as required by
Section 272.001 of the Texas Local Government Code
WHEREAS, 3601 Armstrong Drive has been declared as excess property; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Code Section 272.001 requires
advertisement by published notification to the general public for a sealed bid sale; and,
WHEREAS, it is the City's desire to promote development and enhance the area
surrounding the entrance to the Municipal Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to approve the advertisement and all
necessary steps to facilitate the sealed bid sale of 3601 Armstrong Drive.
